Galang Camp

Galang camps served as long-term residences for individuals and families, witnessing births and deaths. Numerous single Vietnamese men migrated here for better lives, but faced boredom and a gender imbalance. Protecting young women became a challenge for UNHCR staff, amidst reports of their mistreatment.
